Long Time, No Blog

It’s been a long time since I’ve written in an online journal. I remember when I couldn’t get enough of Livejournal, I was on there several times a day checking on what was going on. Facebook and myspace aren’t the same, they’re not as good. Anyway, I want to get back in the habit of writing on here, so here goes…

This weekend was a good one. On Friday night, we ate a quick dinner and headed to the Mcenaney’s. We went to the drive-in, yes in December yes it was cold. I guess technically it was only November but still. It was a triple feature-Fred Claus, Bee Movie and Beowulf. I stayed awake for one and a half and then managed to sleep somewhat in the backseat of the car. Though it was cold we had a good time. We didn’t get home til nearly 2 AM and managed to sleep in on Saturday til 11. Before Florida I couldn’t sleep past 9-now I have no problem sleeping til 11. It felt great. We forced ourselves to get up so we could work on the apartment. We made salads for lunch in an effort to keep losing weight for the Biggest loser contest. We worked diligently for several hours cleaning and organizing. I found some old crafts I plan to get back into. We went to CiCi’s for dinner to negate any good we got from the salads. We stopped at Wal-Mart and Hobby Lobby to pick up a few needed things. We got a nice shelf for our living room, turns out it was 50% off and we got an extra 10% off because it was slightly damaged. Yay for bargains.  When we got home we did a little more work on the house and eventually went to bed around midnight. I also listed my Wii on Ebay and made $200 this weekend-not bad at all. Hopefully the guy will actually pay. On Sunday we put up our Christmas tree and decorated some for Christmas! I love it! This is my favorite time of year…fall to Christmas. We also went to my parents breifly to put a few things in storage. Our tree looks nice, hopefully I can put some photos in the galery soon.

I am traveling again this week to Arkansas…I’ll be home Tuesday though and then can relax again for December I think. Yay!
